Is AI replacing project manager?

"The project meeting started in the same way as in previous weeks - everyone is remote except for Liisa and Kari, who are at the office - albeit in their own booths - that is, remotely. Three of the seven participants have their cameras on. There is no project manager - or so there is - it's ChatGPT, i.e. between friends SeeGee .
SeeGee has automatically created an agenda based on Jira, email and Teams conversations that have taken place during the week. In addition, he (it?) has had background conversations with the project owner and a few editors of ChatGPT.
SeeGee starts the meeting - the voice is the voice of Paula Vesala, who received the most votes in the voting. Liisa first tells about the progress of her own area and raises a few problems to be addressed. These things were not directly on the agenda, but SeeGee changes the agenda on the fly and also makes a memo and updates Jira at the same time. After this, the meeting proceeds according to the agenda. SeeGee makes a memorandum of the meeting in both Finnish and English, which separately states the decisions and lists the agreed follow-up measures. In the background, SeeGee has registered 23 Jira tickets during the project and has already implemented 15 of them before the last one has had time to say "hello". The meeting ends. Kari closes the Teams meeting and notices that there are no unfinished tasks for her in the weekly sprint, even though there are still 4 days left in the sprint - SeeGee has completed all her tasks. Kari opens Oikotie."
Could this be a reality in the near future? What are the most important value-generating things for a project manager? Will a project manager or, for example, a programmer cope with the artificial intelligence of the future?
When the project is about to end or has ended, I usually try to discuss with the team why the project was successful or why it failed. More often than not, the answer has to do with communication. If the project communication has been successful, the project has often been successful as well. There are many levels of communication in the project. One of the most important roles of the project manager is to ensure that there are conditions for excellent communication and to ensure that the conditions for excellent communication also remain.
In addition, the project manager must understand what risks the project has in its various phases and how to react to them. Usually, risks are discussed in, for example, a steering group meeting, which the project manager carefully prepares, especially when there are important matters to be decided on the agenda that can affect, for example, the scope, budget and schedule of the project.
A lot of eye for the game and also humanity are required from the project manager to solve situations.
Project management is often about communicating and interacting with people. Especially when the project does not go according to plan, a lot of eye for the game and also humanity are required from the project manager to solve the situations. The only sure thing about the project is that it will not progress 100% according to plans. Because of this, projects need a good team, including a project manager, to solve smaller and bigger challenges - every day. Welcome CeeGee and other artificial intelligences to solve these challenges!
